How to send your digital scans to us

iTero
  • We send you a Self-Impression System (S-IS) kit for you to make a dental mold of your mouth/teeth
  • To create your 3D printed custom fit mouthguard, we use state-of-the-art dental imaging technology to take a 3D scan of your impression
  • Once we have your scan, we run it through our unique mouthguard software
  • This process creates a printable 3D mouthguard file
  • We then send your file to print on one of our 3D printers
  • Your mouthguard is printed with our patented 3D plastic filament

Once we receive your impression (and our techs review for quality), we will print and send your mouthguard in 7-10 working days (excluding major holidays)

3D Printed Mouthguard Technology

We Use The Best Materials Only

The evolution of sports mouthguards has been driven by continuous innovation in materials aimed at improving impact absorption and force dispersion, which are essential for safeguarding both soft and hard tissues within the oral cavity. Ethylene vinyl acetate (EVA) has long been the standard due to its reliable performance. However, advancements in 3D-printed polyolefin (PO) materials are paving the way for improved safety measures. PO mouthguards, created through fused filament fabrication (FFF), offer significantly higher impact toughness compared to traditional EVA, making them a strong candidate for enhanced athlete protection.
